Grounds Week 2025

#GroundsWeek will take place from March 17 – March 23 and it’s shaping up to be the biggest celebration yet. Last year, this initiative reached an impressive 18 million people, highlighting the growing appreciation for the vital work done by grounds staff in sport.
Why #GroundsWeek Matters:
Recognition: It’s a week dedicated to recognising the vital role your grounds staff play in our sports and communities.
Inspiration: It inspires the next generation of professionals and volunteers to consider careers in grounds management.
Support: It’s an opportunity for us all to show support and celebrate their hard work.
We invite you to support #GroundsWeek by encouraging teams to participate. Use our easy-to-use #GroundsWeek Toolkit https://www.thegma.org.uk/helpful-links/groundsweek/, which includes resources like the official logo, social media templates, graphics and more. These tools make it simple to spread the word and celebrate the incredible work of your grounds teams.
