Growing the game for women and girls is top of the agenda at the moment, particularly following the success of England Women in the 2014 World Cup in Paris, and Oxfordshire RFU is committed to developing its own Women and Girls representative squads.
This season, Chris White joined as Director of Women & Girls Representative Rugby. His role is pivotal to ensuring that there are opportunities available for players to develop their skills at representative level and to access the player pathway.
Chris and our Team Management aim to take the standard of county rugby to the next level, continuing the work that has been put into the W&G game over the last few seasons, and change the perception of women’s rugby.
Throughout the 2019-20 season, Oxfordshire RFU will be running a series of Women & Girls development training sessions.
