Players are selected to represent Oxfordshire RFU according to their performance in trials. Trial participants are assessed on seven key areas: work ethic, handling, defence, contact, running and evasion skill, decision making and overall effectiveness. We encourage those trialling to make an effort to be noticed by the coaches and other assessors by getting stuck in to the set tasks, and, most importantly, to perform as best as they can on the day.
There will be a number of training and development sessions for squad members throughout the season, as well as opportunities for any Under 15s player in the county to come along for development sessions:
There are also opportunities for any talented and enthusiastic female Under 15s player in the county to join the squad at open development sessions.
