Important notes:

RFU regulation 15.11.3 requires U13 matches to be halted once the difference is 30 points – “The Mercy Rule”. We have included within our regulations non-mandatory adjustments that coaches can make to balance a one-sided game. We would encourage these to maximise enjoyment for both sets of players. If both teams are happy, then the game can continue after the mercy rule is invoked, but the score line is fixed.

Please also be aware that it is unlikely that any Oxford Society referees will be appointed to any match (including finals). Clubs should be prepared to referee half a match each or find a neutral referee.
